Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (2026+)
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, IoT, and decentralized systems
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for future technologies
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready capabilities
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and marketing
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with futurist or R&D leadership experience
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation strategies
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight or innovation management
- Experience managing budgets >$1M for R&D initiatives
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
