Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Author high-impact thought leadership and executive briefings on emerging paradigms
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Present strategic visions to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Quantify future market opportunities through proprietary forecasting models
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Expertise in emerging technologies (generative AI, Web3, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed innovation or foresight journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (STEEP, Delphi method)
- Exceptional communication skills for C-level and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects launched to market
