- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for technology, society, and market evolution
- Facilitate executive workshops translating future scenarios into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Author high-impact thought leadership content and future outlook reports for industry stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Establish cross-functional futures councils to anticipate and prepare for paradigm shifts
- Quantify future opportunity costs through scenario modeling and probabilistic forecasting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech convergence points
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certified in futures methodologies (e.g., CFPS, SFI) or equivalent practical expertise
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
