Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic trends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to forecast industry transformations through 2030
- Develop and maintain innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into strategic initiatives
- Produce comprehensive trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) for commercial viability
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external investors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACIF or similar) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects
