Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks that inform multi-year R&D roadmaps
- Present executive-level trend briefings to stakeholders including investors and board members
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for Fortune 500 clients
- Author white papers on emerging paradigms in AI, biotechnology, and sustainable systems
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into commercialization strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from trend-driven initiatives
