Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Technology Impact Assessments analyzing AI, quantum computing, and bioengineering convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and cognitive augmentation technologies
- Present foresight briefings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists and coordinate global innovation symposiums
- Drive patent strategy for emerging technology applications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technological singularity or human-computer evolution
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum AI, neurotech, climate engineering)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ technology roadmaps or innovation strategies
