Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and market disruptions
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, energy, and AI sectors
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenario' workshops with C-suite executives
- Author white papers on exponential technologies and their societal impact
- Manage innovation portfolio with $5M+ annual R&D allocation
- Represent company at Davos, TED, and global tech summits
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palantir)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through future analysis
- Fluency in English with exceptional written communication skills
