Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business resilience
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints and hackathons to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer emerging research domains
- Oversee the development of patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy for future innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills for complex concepts
- Deep understanding of global megatrends (demographic shifts, climate resilience, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and managing innovation portfolios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
