Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and present future scenarios to guide executive decision-making and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen solutions in VR/AR, sustainable tech, and AI ethics
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Create compelling narratives and visualizations to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Oversee the implementation of foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi studies, scenario planning)
- Mentor junior futurists and drive a culture of continuous innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, Technology, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience leading high-impact innovation projects in tech or Fortune 500 environments
