As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with world-class engineers, designers, and business leaders to translate future scenarios into actionable strategies. You'll lead horizon-scanning initiatives, develop long-term technology roadmaps, and foster a culture of radical innovation that positions Nexus as the undisputed leader in next-generation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market evolution
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments for technological disruption across key industries
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Drive organizational adoption of foresight methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills with 500+ audience experience
- Track record of translating foresight into commercial products or business transformations
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Published author or frequent keynote speaker on innovation or technological disruption
