Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead ideation workshops with executive stakeholders to identify high-impact innovation opportunities
- Produce annual Future State Reports with actionable recommendations for R&D priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators affecting technology adoption
- Present foresight findings to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal innovation capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proven track record of successfully predicting market disruptions (portfolio required)
- Expertise in quantum computing, biotech convergence, or spatial computing
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar credential preferred
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and AI-driven trend analysis
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions through data-driven storytelling
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
