Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives identifying emerging trends, technologies, and disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop robust scenario-planning models and strategic roadmaps for technological adoption and market evolution
- Conduct primary research through horizon scanning, expert interviews, and data-driven analysis
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops to embed foresight methodologies across departments
- Author thought leadership publications and speaking engagements at industry conferences
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into development lifecycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy and innovation outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working in fast-paced tech, consulting, or R&D environments
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and strategic modeling software
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar institution) preferred
