As a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the LA 2026 Olympic Project, you will play a pivotal role in architecting a scalable, secure, and world-class ticketing and access control platform. What You Will Do
In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex backend systems and intuitive frontend experiences. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, and ensure our platform can withstand the massive scale of the 2026 Games.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly scalable microservices for the central ticketing and venue access system.
- Lead the design of real-time data pipelines to handle millions of concurrent transactions during peak event hours.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate complex data flows into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for mobile and web.
- Ensure enterprise-grade security and data privacy compliance across all ticketing channels.
- Optimize database performance and application latency to guarantee a smooth user experience.
- Mentor a team of talented engineers, conducting code reviews and technical architecture discussions.
- Partner with product managers to define technical roadmaps and delivery milestones for the 2026 launch.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript (React/Next.js) and backend technologies (Node.js/Java/Python).
- Proven experience designing distributed systems and managing high-traffic web applications.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
