Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices architecture for the 2026 event platform.
- Ensure system scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance to handle peak loads during live events.
- Implement robust security protocols and data privacy measures compliant with international standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of UI/UX designers, frontend engineers, and product managers to deliver feature-rich solutions.
- Optimize database queries and API performance to ensure sub-100ms response times.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high code quality standards.
- Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis for system issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development using Python, Go, or Java.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) for asynchronous processing.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
