Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy state-of-the-art deep learning models for autonomous navigation and decision-making.
- Optimize neural network inference latency for real-time robotic processing on edge devices.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to integrate sensor data (LiDAR, cameras) into control loops.
- Conduct research on emerging AI paradigms, including reinforcement learning and large language models for robotics.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in best practices for scalable ML systems.
- Ensure system robustness, safety compliance, and reliability in high-stakes environments.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning and robotics.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and C++.
- Strong understanding of computer vision, sensor fusion, and SLAM.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of delivering complex AI systems from prototype to production.
