Role Overview
As a Senior AI Robotics Engineer, you will bridge the gap between theoretical AI and physical implementation, ensuring our autonomous units operate flawlessly in dynamic, real-world environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect Advanced AI Models: Design and deploy deep learning algorithms that power perception, navigation, and decision-making for autonomous robots.
- System Integration: Collaborate closely with hardware teams to integrate AI software with sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Optimization & Performance: Continuously optimize code for real-time processing and low-latency decision-making in edge computing environments.
- Simulation & Testing: Lead the development of physics-based simulation environments to test complex scenarios before physical deployment.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high technical standards across the team.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of AI trends, exploring new methodologies like reinforcement learning and neural networks for robotics.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in AI, robotics, or software engineering.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA for high-performance computing.
- Frameworks: Deep experience with ROS (Robot Operating System), TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI frameworks.
- Mathematics: Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and probability/statistics.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver robust solutions under pressure.
