Role Overview:
You will be responsible for designing the architectural vision for our AI ecosystem. This involves deep collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and executive leadership to ensure our infrastructure can handle the scale and complexity of future AI workloads. Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Create and maintain a comprehensive technical roadmap for AI infrastructure, aligning with company-wide strategic goals.
- Architecture Design: Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures for machine learning pipelines and data lakes.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., quantum computing integration, edge AI) to determine their viability for the 2026 roadmap.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with R&D and Operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of new AI capabilities.
- Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize cloud spend and resource utilization for large-scale AI training and inference.
- Disaster Recovery & Security: Oversee the implementation of robust security protocols and disaster recovery plans specifically for AI infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, architecture, or DevOps, with at least 3 years in a strategic or leadership capacity.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and distributed systems.
- AI/ML Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and how they interact with infrastructure.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
