Responsibilities
- Develop Comprehensive Frameworks: Design and implement ethical AI guidelines that govern our model development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with global standards by 2026.
- Conduct Impact Audits: Perform rigorous risk assessments on proprietary algorithms to identify and mitigate potential biases, discrimination, and safety hazards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product teams, legal counsel, and external regulators to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable technical requirements.
- Policy Advocacy: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging legislative trends in data privacy and AI governance, advising leadership on necessary compliance updates.
- Education & Training: Lead internal workshops to foster an ethical culture, training engineers and data scientists on responsible AI practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or Masterβs degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on Ethics/AI.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in legal compliance, policy making, or AI ethics research, preferably within a high-tech environment.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, large language models, and data governance principles.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex ethical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of influencing organizational strategy through policy development.
