Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive ethical frameworks for autonomous AI agents and machine learning models.
- Conduct rigorous algorithmic audits to identify and mitigate bias in data sets and model outputs.
- Translate complex ethical dilemmas into actionable technical guidelines for engineering teams.
- Monitor evolving global regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, US Executive Orders) and advise executive leadership on compliance strategies.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to promote a culture of responsibility and transparency within the organization.
- Develop educational materials and training programs to upskill staff on AI safety and privacy best practices.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in policy development, compliance, or AI ethics within a high-tech environment.
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, and generative AI technologies.
- Proven track record of collaborating with technical teams to implement ethical standards.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and international human rights frameworks.
