Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement robust, high-availability AI infrastructure capable of processing petabytes of data in real-time.
- Lead Research & Development: Spearhead research initiatives focused on Transformer architectures and reinforcement learning to stay ahead of the 2026 technology curve.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for specific industry verticals to maximize performance and reduce latency.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into actionable development roadmaps.
- Risk Management: Identify potential biases and security vulnerabilities in AI models and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior architectural role.
- Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Ray, Kubernetes).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision.
- Cloud Expertise: Proven track record deploying models on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
