The Role: In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing complex 2D rendering engines, interactive data visualizations, and seamless animations that run smoothly across all devices. Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance 2D rendering engines and libraries using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and SVG.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps animations on a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate complex design concepts into pixel-perfect, interactive web experiences.
- Implement advanced mathematical algorithms for physics simulations, particle systems, and dynamic geometry.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex graphics issues and cross-browser compatibility problems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a specific focus on 2D graphics and rendering.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of the Canvas API, WebGL, and libraries such as Pixi.js, Phaser, or Three.js.
- Experience with responsive design and performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, off-screen rendering).
- Strong mathematical background in geometry, trigonometry, and linear algebra.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
