Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technology evolution through 2026
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks for emerging tech adoption
- Conduct horizon scanning across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech roadmaps into development pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and lead a specialized innovation lab team of 5-8 futurists
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting 2026 deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership role
- Proven track record of executing future-tech roadmaps (2018-2024)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum, blockchain, synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurist or tech strategy publications
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Certification in Futures Research or Technology Foresight preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into executable plans
