Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures capable of 1000+ qubit operations
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC systems
- Create quantum software development frameworks for enterprise applications
- Establish security protocols for quantum-encrypted communications networks
- Drive quantum hardware-software co-design optimization initiatives
- Present quantum technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance systems design
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Strong background in distributed systems and parallel computing
- Track record of leading complex R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
