Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures supporting 1M+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum networks
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing environments
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Architect cryogenic infrastructure supporting sub-10mK environments
- Establish quantum communication protocols across continental networks
- Document quantum system blueprints using QASM and Quil standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years designing high-performance computing infrastructure
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Certification in quantum hardware architecture (IBM Q, Rigetti)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and dilution refrigerators
- Published research in quantum information science
- Security clearance for handling quantum-encrypted data
