Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems at scale
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Architect error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Secure $1M+ in DARPA/NASA research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE QCE)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of translating theoretical models into experimental results
