Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with physicists to enhance qubit coherence times
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Lead research on topological quantum computing
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly language
- Published work in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement principles
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
- Strong background in linear algebra and group theory
- Security clearance preferred
