Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications in cryptography and optimization
- Design and execute fault-tolerant quantum computing experiments using 50+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting quantum processors
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems below 20mK
- Proven ability to secure federal research grants
