Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications in machine learning and optimization
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum error correction architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Present research findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory foundations
- Secure $2M+ in government and industry research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with quantum focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency in low-level quantum hardware control systems (QCC, QPU interfaces)
- Demonstrated ability to secure NSF/DOE research grants
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
