Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop quantum software using Q#, Qiskit, and other quantum programming frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum systems
- Publish research in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum-focused field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum algorithm development and quantum programming
- Deep expertise in quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and quantum error correction
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (e.g., IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
