Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms and error correction protocols for 2026-era quantum processors
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit design for fault-tolerant architectures
- Author high-impact publications and patents in quantum information science
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams in quantum methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through NSF and DoE proposals
- Participate in international quantum standards committees
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science/Physical Review X
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
