Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish findings in Nature Physics/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum circuit optimization
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS + 5 years experience accepted)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Knowledge of topological quantum computing models
