Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Publish high-impact research in IEEE journals and present at global quantum summits
- Develop error-correction methodologies for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate architectures
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DoD grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and low-level quantum programming
- Demonstrated success in securing government research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
