Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and C++
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement principles
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Ability to translate complex theory into practical solutions
