Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $10M+ in government grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in top-tier journals demonstrating quantum algorithm innovation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
