Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems

- Secure and manage $1M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Proficiency with quantum simulation frameworks (QASM, OpenFermion)
- Demonstrated grant-writing success for federal research funding
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware constraints and mitigation strategies
