Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published papers in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
