Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing roadmaps for 2026 commercial applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in error correction and qubit stability
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Secure $10M+ in government and private quantum research grants
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with Intel and IBM on quantum-hybrid architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing NSF or DoD quantum research funding
- Proficiency in cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
- Deep understanding of Shor's and Grover's algorithm implementations
