Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing novel quantum computing architectures
- Design and implement error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Drive commercialization of quantum algorithms for finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research funding
- Publish 3+ high-impact papers in Nature/Science annually
- Advise C-suite on quantum strategy and competitive positioning
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record securing government research grants
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
