Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in developing scalable quantum processors
- Establish quantum error-correction frameworks to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $10M+ in research grants through compelling proposals and industry partnerships
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in publishing quantum algorithms with 15+ citations
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and Qiskit/PyTorch Quantum frameworks
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Deep knowledge of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Strong leadership background managing research teams of 10+ scientists
- Patent portfolio with at least 3 quantum computing-related innovations
