Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment challenges
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants and industry partnerships
- Develop quantum-safe cybersecurity protocols for next-gen infrastructure
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and AI integration
- Present findings at top-tier conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record of securing research funding ($1M+)
- Strong background in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Published work in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, D-Wave)
