Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing roadmaps targeting 2026 commercial deployment milestones
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-optimized machine learning algorithms
- Secure $5M+ in federal and corporate quantum research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Drive partnerships with NASA, IBM Quantum, and DOD research units
- Establish industry-first quantum security protocols for critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Published author in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, PRL, etc.)
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures and cryogenic systems
- Proven track record securing $3M+ in quantum research funding
- Deep knowledge of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Clearance for federal quantum security initiatives (or ability to obtain)
