Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for scalable qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical infrastructure
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and simulation
- Document and publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Maintain quantum hardware performance metrics and calibration protocols
- Train junior engineers on quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error mitigation
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design tools
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Demonstrated ability to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cloud quantum services (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
