Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial-scale applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Establish quantum system performance benchmarks and scalability roadmaps for 2026 deployment targets
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor designs and error correction protocols
- Drive quantum cloud platform development and integration with classical computing infrastructure
- Present quantum computing strategies to C-suite executives and industry consortium partners
- Mentor junior quantum researchers and publish findings in top-tier scientific journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum error correction, and quantum algorithm development
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research in peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Experience leading quantum hardware-software co-design projects in commercial or research environments
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques and qubit technologies
- Strong presentation skills with ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
