Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead development of quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software and physical qubit control systems
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communication networks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in top-tier journals
- Drive innovation in quantum error correction techniques for real-world deployment
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions in finance and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial quantum software development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and assembly-level optimization
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel programming models
