Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, software engineers, and domain experts
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to next-generation cryptographic threats
- Conduct performance modeling and error mitigation for large-scale quantum processors
- Secure patents for novel quantum circuit designs and error correction methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proven track record of implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant system design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
