Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize complex computational problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Mentor junior scientists and engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of leading technical projects through full lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills translating quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
