Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for industrial-scale optimization problems
- Lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions for enterprise clients
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Research emerging quantum technologies and publish breakthrough findings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware integration
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex mathematical modeling
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- US citizenship or permanent residency required (government contract compliance)
