Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Optimize quantum circuit performance on 128-qubit processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE and ACM conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in Nature or Science journals
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Ability to secure US government security clearance
- Fluency in Python and C++ for quantum simulation
