Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures for commercial deployment by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical software frameworks utilizing Qiskit and Cirq
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Establish quantum error correction protocols for real-world applications
- Secure $50M+ in government grants and private funding for quantum initiatives
- Author patents on novel quantum gate designs and topological qubit implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological computing
- Expertise in superconducting qubit fabrication and cryogenic system integration
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper) and Python optimization
- Track record of securing DARPA or NSF quantum computing grants
- Familiarity with quantum-resistant cryptography standards (NIST IR 8105)
