Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.9% fidelity
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Secure patents for novel quantum computational methods
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in quantum circuit optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in quantum circuit compilation and optimization
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
